SIMON needed a proposal for an enterprise platform for process reporting and management in the telecoms industry. With only 5 days and limited guidance, the challenge was to design 5 screens that demonstrated how this complex platform could work while understanding the industry's shortcomings.
The approach
Conducted competitive research to understand industry shortcomings and similar platforms. Created comprehensive flow to ensure designed screens were well thought out. Sketched rapid wireframes to maximize time on high-fidelity visuals. Spent 32 hours over two days defining and refining the UI design, focusing on big-data visualization and workflow management.

Why
A proposal is judged on whether the whole product feels coherent. Mapping the full platform flow first meant the five screens I could afford to build were the five that carried the system.
Impact
