The brief
Modern teams use fragmented tools (Slack, Asana, Notion, Zoom) leading to context switching, information silos, and productivity loss. Teams spend 2+ hours daily searching for information across platforms. Traditional collaboration tools lack intelligent automation and contextual awareness. Knowledge workers need AI assistance that understands project context and team dynamics.
The approach
Created an integrated collaboration platform that unifies communication, project management, and documentation with embedded AI assistance. The platform learns from team interactions to provide contextual suggestions, automate routine tasks, and surface relevant information proactively. Designed with progressive disclosure to balance power-user features with mainstream simplicity. Implemented a command palette for power users with AI autocomplete, minimal chrome interface with collapsible sidebars, and real-time collaboration indicators without visual noise.

Why
In testing, the moment people couldn't tell whether the AI was suggesting or acting, they stopped using it. Trust wasn't a feature of the model — it was a property of the interface around it.
Impact
Every AI-generated element carries visible attribution and an edit affordance before anything is committed, which is what made the automation usable rather than unnerving.
